Honey's Child in the A!

When I first found out that Honey’s Child Boutique was going to Atlanta to rip the runway, I knew that the plus size fashion world was about to be shut down! Let me first say, the Phat Girl Fresh Lifestyled movement is such a rewarding, inspiring, and LIT experience. So mixing the vibes of the event with the fashion and styling of Letitia “The Motha” Young you already know that there was all kind of slayage going on! I mean, I’m still hype from the show! It was just an awesome time, a night to remember. And the MODELS, honey they killed! Let’s take a look!

Disclaimer: I have never questioned my IPhone until this show. The lighting and my phone just did not get along. This is the first time I thought that I should have an android… never mind. I’m still sticking with my IPhone! But with that being said bear with me and don’t judge! Lol!

Hey ya’ll! Oh how I’ve missed thee! I kind of dropped off the face of blogger world, but I’m back and plan to stick around for a while.

A Reveal for Two

Sometimes in life we become so lost, the not knowing can be very scary, and searching for your purpose can be so uneasy. At times it can make you want to give up, play it safe and stay at that day in and day out, 9-5 job just to get paid. I have become all too familiar with this common struggle especially after starting my own business. It's NOT easy!!! Having this vision and trying to make others see or believe in it can be very challenging. The hang ups and disappointments can make this tough girl cry. This feeling became my reality just last week, the day before I was scheduled to do a transformation photo shoot for my client Carmen Knowles. I was at the point that maybe I should put my business on the back burner and go back to working 2 jobs.

Then Saturday came and this happened...

All of my doubts were pushed aside, stomped, and buried! I saw myself, I saw my vision, I saw my purpose again! Just seeing Carmen step out of her comfort zone and embracing her new look confirmed exactly why I started my business. So with that being said, I'm here to help others, to push them to new heights and to help illuminate their confidence. I want to thank Carmen so much!! By having the opportunity to help you was two-fold, I was able to help myself and remember my reason for doing what I do!!! Thanks for going on this journey with me. I am extremely happy and excited to continue to see you flourish.

Pretty In Pink

My bestie got married in Vegas 2 weeks ago and she chose the color scheme of shades of purple and pinks. I chose pink as you can see. I ordered this swing dress from www.boohoo.com. The model on the site looked awesome in it and the whole swing to the dress made me fall in love. I have to admit I was a little nervous about buying a swing dress being that I have hips and a big tush. It could have went both ways, really wrong or really right! I'm proud to say it went really right! I am so happy with the dress, it really flattered my shape. Boo Hoo is now my go to place for the cutest dresses, reasonable prices, and a fast delivery time!
