Wardrobe Revamp

So a little background about myself! I am on a STRICT BUDGET! In the beginning of 2013 I found myself without a job. Although I was worried about not being able to pay my bills, I was more distraught when I realized that I couldn’t go shopping every other week just because! (Yes, it’s that important to me). With my mood changes and weight fluctuating due to the stress of being unemployed, it became depressing to get dressed to go out and have fun. After wallowing in self- pity for a while, I eventually got a grip on life. I realized that having a lot of money is not the determining factor to my happiness or even to creating a great outfit. So had to “revamp” my perception on what style really was.  It’s not about buying new outfits for every occasion, it became clear to me it was all about my creativity. So I tore my closet up! I found things I forgot I had, rearranged it, got rid of things and started back to the basics. I started finding that this shirt went with those pants.  And oh! I could wear these shoes instead of those! Add a scarf, a hat, or a chunky necklace, and BAM a new original outfit!! I call it wardrobe revamping!

Above is an outfit that was revamped by me the only thing added was the kimono and socks which was all together $20.
